Why yes, The Bright Side is now available in book form! This volume includes comics 33-67 , which is most of the painted comics. Also included are 4 newly painted versions of some older comics, which were done exclusively for this book. For those interested, the comics I repainted are Cupcakes, Youth, The Joy of Paying the Bills, and Too Much Cream Cheese.
I feel like these characters and I have grown up together in a lot of ways over the past few years, so it’s really fulfilling to see this project come together and to be able to share it with all of you. So, big thanks to everyone who buys the book, everyone who writes comments, and everyone who’s been following this story. I really appreciate all of you! I look forward to continuing this story putting out another even better book

Here it is, the last comic for awhile. And naturally it’s a winter comic right when spring is starting to creep up. Anyway, I’ll be focusing my attention on my senior project from here on out, but I plan on starting up more Bright Side after I graduate and everything.

Kite flying, part 2

Whoops, sorry this is so late, guys! I’ve been super swamped lately, but I’m starting to get back into the groove of things. New comic on Wednesday, as per usual.
I’ll try to be as good at keeping promises as Stormcloud. Also, noting that somewhere along the line, Suzie upgraded her ambitions from humble baker, to world class pastry chef.

Rainbow wants answers
And hey, the seasons are finally changing in this comic world. It occurred to me that it’s been summer for a really long time, and it seemed like a good point for a change of scenery. That worked out well for the story progression I had planned too, so I am overall quite happy about that.

Fresh comics! Well, it took a few years, but I finally made a lame Stormcloud joke. Anyway, here’s some classic Suzie/Stormcloud cuteness with a twist.
Apologies for the slight delay in uploading, I was having issues getting Photoshop to cooperate with me, but all is well now.

In other news, I’m making progress on my comic Edit, which is about robots.

More beach comics, and the return of Daisy! I intended on writing her out after Think About It, but she reappeared nonetheless. On another note, there’s just something odd about Stormcloud in swim trunks. At some point during the drawing process, I thought, “Should I put him in a scuba suit or something?” but that just seemed even weirder. So I guess it’s just awkward, and he feels awkward about it too. Ha
It’s getting to that point now where I’m trying to determine how many more of these I can get done before I need to take a break for awhile. I should be able to keep posting through to the end of February, but beyond that, it’s hard to call just yet. And don’t forget, the compilation book is in the works too . Anyway, if I do stop posting, it’s because I’m working on this super exciting comic about robots.
